6th Grade Aboriginal Art with Exponents
Collaboration with 6th grade math standards in Ms. Montgomery's classes. Students created a Aboriginal inspired Mandalas using exponents.

Upper School Propaganda Posters
Collaboration with Upper School Global Studies Standards in Mr. Gower's classes. Students created propaganda posters based on a issue covered in Global Studies. Students focused on the meaning and importance of Color Theory and use within artworks.

Upper School Anatomical Hearts
Adr Collaboration with Science standards, Ms. O'Connor. In Art class, students created their own anatomical heart designs to show "What's in your Heart". Students learned about the processes and structure of the heart; along with, how it transfers blood throughout the body. Project paired up with recently covered science standards with Ms. O'Connor.

Collaboration with Global Studies standards, Mr. Gower. In Art class, students created visual predictions based off of current global issues and aspects of society.

National Reading Week Bookmarks
Collaboration with Literacy Committee for students to create a bookmark to promote reading!
2nd Grade Maria Sibylla Merian Insect Discoveries
Created and designed this Arts Integration Lesson based on 2nd Grade Science standard to be covered during 4th quarter. Students will learn about Maria Sibylla Merian and create their own insect illustration inspired by her.
